Fathers Day Social Ride

Bring your gear along on Sunday Dads!!!!!  A social ride will be held during the MX meeting on Sunday.  For those who do not hold a race licence, rec licences can be purchased on the day for $20.

North Coast Open Motorcross 18-19 September Gnudwoc Park Raceway MVRG, South Grafton.
 
Here is a great opportunity to ride at an Open Event close to home. It has been over 20 years since Grafton has held an Open meeting, so it would be great to see you all there for this great event. Remember riders will need a Junior NATIONAL (& logbook) or Senior NATIONAL Licence to compete at this event.  
 
It is also a good opportunity for Juniors to gain eligibility for State Championships and for Seniors to gain points for grading.
 
Last Open event before the Australian Junior Motocross Titles.

"Calling All Members" - Working Bee - Saturday, 4 September - Motocross & Flat Track

One more working bee should see the completion of the flat track fence. YOUR HELP IS NEEDED!!!!  8am start. The Dirt Track training clinic is being held 11 September so the fence has to be completed by then.

Poker Run

Change of Date
The Motocross event set down for 7 November will now be held on 31 October. This date has been changed in conjunction with Port Club�s change for us. Please refer to the calendar.

Safety Product
Matt Rix has found a new product that is used in motorbike racing in the USA.  It is used to help to take off your helmet after a crash. It is NOT used here or passed by MNSW yet. Matt will be at Port next week if anyone would like to talk to him about it. You can have a look on this web site www.ejectsaftey.com

Odd Jobs
Don�t forget if you have a free hour or two and would like to go to the track and do some odd jobs, give Mel a call and she will tell you what needs to be done, ie mowing, spraying, picking up rubbish, washing down the toilets, washing down out the front of the canteen, cleaning up along the fence line so we can put a new fence. There's heaps of little jobs so call MEL 0401017808

Working Bee
Please note all club members, while we do not have the help of a caretaker now, we need riders and their families to help out on the Saturday afternoon before a race meeting between the hours of 2pm and 4pm, to help set up for the next day. The jobs involve the cleaning of areas around the canteen, hosing out the toilets, whipper snippering, mowing, watering and putting bins out. Then at the end of the day on Sundays, the rubbish needs to be picked up and the bins emptied into the big skit bins. Unless we get help with this our race meetings will not be able to continue, as we can�t rely on the same few people to do all the work. They will eventually be burnt out, and remember some of these people are your Officials too, which you need to run these race meetings.
