Race Secretary Report:
What a great success, however we are yet to see how much of a financial success it was, but hopefully it was worth the effort and everyone will be keen to make it an annual event.
 

I think, as a club, we have given it 100% effort, but we can always improve somewhere. Please feel free to comment in anyway, be it good or bad, so we can hopefully start planning for next year.

IT HAS FINALLY BEEN CONFIRMED THAT IF YOU'RE A SENIOR RIDER NOT GRADED AND WISH TO EARN POINTS TOWARDS BECOMING GRADED, YOU MUST RIDE THE CLUBMAN CLASS. B GRADERS WHO WISH TO EARN POINTS TO BECOME AN A GRADE MUST RIDE B GRADE.
THIS ALSO DEPENDS ON THE AVAILABILITY OF GRID POSITIONS FOR THE HIGHER CLASSES.

Toowoomba Stadium MX on Saturday 8th January 2010, Coffs Harbour had 11 riders attend this race on the weekend, due to the event finishing early with injuries, not sure how everyone went yet, but keep an eye on the Toowoomba Motorcycle Club website for more place updates. All riders rode well, with no major injuries, and we did the club proud. Three standout riders would have been Toby Sheridan, Adrian McIntyre and Dan Ralph getting top 3 places in some of their racers.

The club wishes Jacob Mcleod a fast recovery after his crash in practice at Toowoomba on the weekend.
Big note we have confirmation that Robbie Marshal and Brendan Harrison will be riding the Stadium Motocross at Coffs on the 23rd January. Make sure your there to see these riders.

Stadium MX Help!

We seriously need helpers for the Stadium MX 23/1/10, we can't assume people are just going to help on the day, we need to set a roster for ALL jobs, so if you can spare a couple of hours from 7.30am and 10pm, either flagging or helping out on the gate entry, please email Donna on jtcracing@bigpond.com of call after school hours on 0418 242 358 or alternately contact Mel on 0401 017 808. A few hours work can give you a free ticket, so you might know someone reliable out there willing to help.

Friendly remind to Members about the Christmas party on Saturday 12th December at the Coffs Harbour Rugby League Club from 5.00pm.

12 December is on at Coffs Harbour Rugby League Club. All tickets need to be pre-booked and pre-paid for by next Sunday, to book please call Kathy McIntyre on 66526767 of call out the the track on Sunday 29th November for the Dirt Track race meeting to book in.

Dirt Track

Our second last round of racing for the Dirt Track was held today, and despite the very hot weather, we had a great roll up of 60 riders, and what great racing there was. If you wish to catch the last round of Dirt Track, it is on next Sunday 29th November, so be there to finish the year.

Club of the Year
Don't forget to keep your fingers crossed for the club for the nominations at the awards night on Saturday 28th November, we will let someone know the next day, so keep an eye out on the website, and even if we don't win, we will represent the club with pride on the night.

'It is with great pleasure we announce that our club has been nominated as 1 of 5 top clubs for the year for MNSW, as well as our Race Secretary, Donna Craig, has been nominated as 1 of 5 top officials of the year.

What a great achievement for a country club and after all we have been through with the floods this year. Tony McIntyre, Donny Thornton and Donna’s family will be attending the presentation at Penrith Leagues Club on the 28th November.

WHAT A TEAM THIS CLUB IS, congratulations to all its members.

OCTOBER

Dirt Track

If our last 2 rounds of dirt track are going to go ahead we really need helpers this Saturday. There is a bit to do after the flood and if it doesn't get done then no one will ride. So turn up on Saturday and lend a hand please.

Track Maintenance

     At the last monthly meeting it was decided that there would be a $5.00 increase in the entry Fee. This is a Track Maintenance fee and ALL money from this fee will go back into the track for upkeep and improvements. The Demo entry will still stay the same. Riders will be told about it at the next riders briefing and the new fee will start at the following race. Round 5 for Dirt track and next year for MX.  

A.G.M. 4th November
It was good to see that quite a few people made it to the meeting, with alot of different topics being discussed. Our committee members have pretty well stayed the same.The only change was that Donna has steped down from treasurer after many years to concentrate on being Race Secretary for bigger events. The Club would like to thank her for all the hard work and would like to welcome Barry Cutler to the position.

Christmas Party
This year Dinner and the Presentation will be held at the Coffs Rugby League Club.The night will also be a benefit night to help raise money for the Sheather family. A silent Auction will take place with various items up for sale. Meal tickets will have to be paid for before the night and camping will still be available at the track. Details should be finalized at the November meeting.
